A Royal Wedding

Yes. I woke up at 4 am to watch the Royal wedding. Yes. I choked up. Yes. It was Beautiful. And Yes. It was every girl's dream!!!

Instead of grabbing perfect pictures off the internet, I decided to take them with my Ipod just because I wanted them to be live. Yes. I am a nerd.

Letting go..........

Wesleyan University is having a festival this weekend. WesFest as they like to call it, it is for incoming freshman....well, Zak left last night to go and stay a couple of nights. I told him to text me when he got there. He did.....it said...I'm here at my future home........it made me happy and sad all at once.................

So much work to do....

We actually ran out of cut wood for this winter but we just had some dropped off and should be good to go next winter. This is only a quarter of the wood that needs to be cut...we will be true loggers after this!

Happy 18th Birthday, Zak!!!

My first born turned 18 yesterday. He is nice, good-looking, polite, respectful, smart, generous, funny and he 

has made me so proud! We have had our stumbles along the way, but who doesn't. I love you Zak and hope all your wishes come true!

                       He is also obsessed with Angry Birds! So Chris of course, made him a cake!
