It's official.....

I am a soccer mom!

Who would have ever thought??? Zak had tryouts yesterday and made the Varsity team. He was tired of all the politics that the High school football coaches were dishing out so he decided he was going to have fun his senior year. I guess soccer was on that list of fun. I won't lie, I'm going to miss the football games, the sound of the hitting pads, the smell of the boys after a hard game, but I am starting to look at it from another viewpoint....all my football pictures are the same. Touchdown here, tackle there... and I think soccer will be fun trying to get that perfect photograph. A kick here and a GOAAAAAAAAALLLLL there!!!!!

This has been such a busy month. Our trip to Disney World was a success!! We drove down to Florida in a rented Town & Country ( I LOVED it!) and there were no fights! It absolutely amazed me.....it was probably the hottest weather we have ever experienced but we managed to keep it together. Then on the way home we stopped in South Carolina to spend the night at Mary's house. We had such a good time....then off the next day for another 14 hour drive home. It was sooo worth it!!!!

Then, one day of rest and my sister and her family were here for two weeks! They also drove, must be the year of the car LOL, so it has been crazy! Football has also started , the Jamboree is next Sunday and school starts that week as well! I have to get on the ball for school supply shopping!! It was a short, hot, fun summer!!!!

This is my 17 yr old. We were just at DisneyWorld and had dinner at Epcot. We had a moment to decide what to do next and he just reminded me so much of "Jersey Shore" LOL!!!

Thunderstorm

Zak just called. He is driving home from work and a lightening bolt hit the ground in front of him. He is scared and excited all at once. But the thing that bothers me is that he said "I think I shit my pants" He is driving my car. "nuff said.......

Happy 5th Birthday Jackson!!!

With Jackson's heart condition, we always said, "I'll just be happy if he makes it to 5"! He made it!!!!! I love this dog with all my heart!!!
