Ahhhhh, my favorite night of the year! This year I have to confess that I did not see one movie. Honestly, they didn't interest me, except for Juno but I haven't had time to go to the movie theatre so Netflix will have a long queue from me! I thought they were a little boring this year and out of sorts. They usually start with Best supporting Actress/Actor but never presented it until about 45 minutes into it..........the dresses this year were boring and I miss Joan Rivers! I do have to say my fav of the night was Heidi Klum. I think she looked stunning! And George of course........his girlfriend looked ok, too. LOL!!!

Forgotten Valentine

In the midst of all the sickness in this house I forgot to post this lovely cupcake. Chris made them for Christopher's party at school and they were sooo cute!

School Vacation

Today is the first day of a very long week. The weather sucks and the kids are feisty so hopefully we will make it in one piece! I'm hoping I can think of something exciting to do. Zak won Monopoly yesterday so we may have a scrabble game today...wish us luck!

My day in a nutshell...

Sam, strep throat.

Me, viral infection of some sort that has knocked me on my ass since Sunday.

I have a wound on my pinky finger that I got at Walmart trying to stop my car door from smashing into the car parked next to me. And when I say wound, I mean an open gash that is so disgusting that I almost passed out driving kind of wound!

I hit my picket fence backing out of my driveway.

Jackson went to the vet today for his annual physical. $345 later and 3 lumps tested, but thankfully came back ok, not like my checkbook who went into cardiac arrest.........

Let's go back to sam and end the day on a vomiting spree.........

Please tell me I am dreaming! Pinch me now and wake my butt up cause I don't want to be in this dream anymore!!!!!!

Excuses, Excuses!

So, this is the second time I have gotten in trouble with Christopher's homework. The first time, I ripped it up and threw in the trash. Yes, I had to dig it out and tape it together and send a note to the teacher. She must think I'm a flake! Well, yesterday, I did it again! Except this time I threw it in with a mush of a mess that didn't quite work out in the bread machine. Since Mother Nature has PMS and decided to give us a snow day today, I will send it in to his teacher on Monday. I bet she has never heard this one for an excuse!!!!!
