There are going to be some sore bones this season!

It's been a long week.

This Katrina thing really hit me hard. I couldn't pull myself away from the tv and my face was puffy from all the crying. You would not believe all the heartbreaking stories and I'm sure it is going to continue for some time. We had to go to Thom and Sarah's wedding and I think that helped me get out of my funk. At the beginning, however, I had a hard time trying to eat because I truly think I had a mild case of survivor guilt. I could not imagine this happening to me. Oh it has been a long week...........

CNN, MSNBC, Fox, and so forth.....

I cannot pull myself away from the television and the coverage of the hurricane and the aftermath. It is so devastating I cannot wrap my brain around this one. People are dying, people are starving, people are shooting at each other! Oh my God! What happened in this life that is so bad that we are being punnished in this way.

Is the counrty moving forward to fast? Have we all sinned that much? Is this is what is supposed to happen? Are my children not going to have a world to live in and raise their children?

Who can answer these questions? What are we going to do?
